Metal powder for laser cladding
For powder-based welding heads (LMD, EHLA) of ODeCon machine tools, special metal powder qualities are required in terms of nozzle technology and manufacturer. Here we relieve your supply chain and, together with our suppliers, guarantee that suitable and qualified powder materials are always delivered for your production machines.
We have experience with over 70 materials specifically for EHLA laser welding and the list is constantly being expanded. Standard materials include:
- Aluminium AlSi10Mg 3.2381
- Stainless steel X2CrNiMo17-12-2 1.4404
- Titanium TiAl6V4 3.7165
- Tool steel* X3NiCoMoTi 18 9 51.2709
However, exotic materials such as niobium, tantalum and similar are also possible.
Replacement and retrofit filters
Various filters are used in machine tools to remove powder particles from the interior atmosphere. We offer different filter inserts depending on the system design and powder materials. Basically, cartridge filters or self-cleaning filter systems are supplied.
We always have replacement filters available for all of these systems and can deliver replacements within the shortest possible time. Binding delivery times and quantities can also be specified as part of service and maintenance contracts.
