Success through innovation: ODecon wins 1st place at the SUCCESS Award 2024

We are proud and full of joy! Our innovative adAM technology was awarded 1st place in the renowned SUCCESS Award 2024. This important award not only underlines our commitment to technological advances in additive manufacturing, but also the relevance of metal 3D printing in the modern manufacturing industry.
The award ceremony, accompanied by the Rhineland-Palatinate Minister of Economic Affairs Daniela Schmitt and Dr. Ulrich Link, Chairman of the Board of the Investment and Structural Bank of Rhineland-Palatinate (ISB), was an unforgettable evening. For us, this award is not only recognition of our work to date, but also an incentive to continue to do pioneering work in this field.

Move completed!
Combining production and administration promotes cooperation

AThis month we moved our administration to new premises. At short notice, the opportunity arose to bring the scattered parts of ODeCon together in one location. The move is now complete!

Formnext 2024

This year we will again be taking part in Formnext, the leading trade fair for additive manufacturing. As in the previous year, you will find us in Hall 11.0 at Stand C31, directly opposite the joint stand of the Fraunhofer Society. We look forward to your visit and the stimulating discussions.

adAM-RD delivered

An exceptional 3D printer from the adAM-RD series has been successfully put into operation at the University of Kassel. The adAM-RD, which was commissioned as part of a large-scale equipment initiative by the German Research Foundation (DFG), is used in the field of materials development. Metals and plastics in powder and wire form can be processed.

Further highlights include:

• 5 4 synchronous axes
• 3 electrical positioning axes
• 2 manual positioning axes
• 3 laser sources (980 / 1,064 / 2,000 [nm])
• Hybrid laser optics
• Workpiece plate heating 500°C

Formnext 2023:

adAM 3D printer: The success story with Eckelmann

The further developed version of the adAM-PRO with CNC control from ECKELMANN and a new user interface with a double monitor was presented at Formnext. Our special thanks go to ECKELMANN, this year's co-exhibitor at Formnext 2023. The powerful CNC control and the open software architecture enable the realization of extraordinary features. The perfect landing at Formnext was only possible thanks to the tireless efforts of the ECKELMANN employees in integrating the components and programming and adapting the user interface. adAM-PRO:
High-end 3D printing in metal

After a 2-year development period, the EU-funded high-performance system adAM-PRO was completed. Various tests were carried out until June 30, 2023 to optimize the kinematics and test the performance of the system, as well as to initiate further development work.

3D Printing Forum / Palatinate 2023

The second 3D printing forum took place on April 28, 2023 in the rooms of ODeCon and Adient from Kaiserslautern at the invitation of the 3DDruck eV association in cooperation with Mr. Teufel from 3DDruckbyTeufel. We were delighted to be able to host this high-level event. In addition to the top-class lectures, the tours through the ODeCon production facility also attracted great interest.
